Prototype testing
For my testing I am
using remote user
testing and an user survey. I have made prototypes of my interface and will have people test them and then answer a survey after. With the feedback from the survey I will be improving my interface. I will also ask them to send me pictures/give me back their filled out prototypes to see if I can learn anything from that.

Prototype Design
My interface is quite simple, a paper book. For my final interface I want to use nicer paper and a better binding technique but for this prototype I just printed my book and stapled the pages together.

User survey design
To help me think of questions for my survey I researched UX design questions online and looked for questions that would fit my design well. I also thought of questions I would like to ask my user about my design. After writing down the questions I made a google form for my user to answer after testing my prototype. I thought an anonymous google form would have the best results as the user wouldn't have to directly tell me what is wrong with my interface. I think this will end up giving me more honest answers.

Finding users
My main focus is testing the usability of the book and
if people find it entertaining. Also if the book is easy to use and if not what I can do to improve it.
To find people who were interested in testing my prototype I sent this message to the Graphic Design whatsapp groupchat and asked some of my friends and family. I am hoping to find people outside of my friend group to test it as they will be more honest towards me. (Especially with the anonymous google form.)

Main critiques

1. Hard to use prototype

2. No clear difference between instructions

and questions

3. Not enough reflective questions only

"What did you take away from it?"
